Needed a docking station for iPod which also had AM/FM radio and which allows other MP3 players to plug in through AUX port. The relatively small size also allows me to move it from room to room with ease. The sound is very good for such a small system; sometimes a bit 'scratchy' sounding. Bass and over all sound quality sounds full and rich, though. Overall very happy with the 200iD.
