Share your iPod with the whole party when you use your JBL On Stage 200ID High Performance Loudspeaker for iPod/iPhone. This iPod dock is compatible with all docking versions of the iPod, even the iPhone. The aux in jack allows you to use your other portable media players as well. The remote control allows you to control the action anywhere in the room while your docked iPod is charged. Your iPod's music will come to life with JBL's proprietary Phoenix Transducer technology. The Phoenix drivers deliver both powerful lows and sizzling highs by utilizing a slipstream port design while the OCT (Optimized Compression) guarantees crystal clear sound even at high volume levels.

This product has great sound, great design and easily blends in without being an eyesore in the living room. There is clarity, even in the bass tones, without the bulk of a subwoofer. If you are looking to throw a raging dance party, this won't do the job. But if you want to fill an apartment or large room, the JBL 200ID does the trick! I checked out a lot of different systems in this general price range. Only bummer is some of the keys on the remote stopped working for me.

The sound is fabulous - and for [$] it's a bargain IF you are one of the lucky ones who gets one of the few that actually work. Ours came out of the box, plugged in easily and played beautifully for about a minute. The without warning, the speaker volume shot up to maximum! Apparently this is a pervasive problem with these speakers. Buy these and gamble with quality.

I purchased this iPod/iPhone dock to replace my Bose system, which is failing. I got similar (or even better) sound quality on a much smaller system, with built-in power adapter (no need for those clumsy power boxes hanging from the power outlet).
This is not a replacement for your living room stereo, but it's a great product to be used in your bedroom or by the pool.
The remote works fine too and it works great also with external sources, such as an iPad or CD player. Works fine with both iPod Classic and iPhone.
It's very easy to use and has pretty good sound quality for a device priced under U$ 100.

[...]. We have used the speakers regularly since then and they provide great sound, both for my iPod 16gig Nano and for our guest's 60gig iPod. The only issue is that none of the seats for the different iPods work if you have them in a holder, as I do, so I just inserted it in without the base.

Great for office music system. Small size means it won't take up your entire desk. Remote control makes it easy to adjust volume or to pause iPod to take a phone call. Most importantly, it has excellent sound for a variety of music and for podcasts. I was satisified enough to purchase a second JBL On Stage for home.

I bought this stereo dock for my Wife's new iPod Nano, b/c her older Bose system is not able to charge the newer iPods.
Let me just say, I am 110% satisfied with this stereo system. Not only was the cost less than half as much as the Bose, the sound quality is at least 3 x as good!!
Moreover, both the stereo and remote worked right out of the box with no muss or fuss. One tip for iPod nano users: don't bother with the plastic adapter that is provided for your nano. Not only does the adapter not work, but the stereo docks just fine without it.
This is by far the best sounding of all the iPod docks I've ever seen. Look no further!!

I looked at a huge array of devices that do the same thing, play music from iTunes and charge an iPhone at the same time while occupying very little space. This product fills the bill perfectly. Simple to use, very good sound, and good quality construction for the price point. You can get better sound but you will pay a lot for it and not have as good looking and compact unit as this JBL 200ID.

We like that the sound is projected from all sides rather than just to the front like the Bose docking station. Sound from Bose is somewhat better but the "surround sound" effect is nice.
