JBL On Stage III Music Station for iPod
The On Stage III Speaker System from JBL is a compact, high-performance sound system designed for use with any docking iPod including the touch, classic or nano G3. The auxiliary audio input allows you to enjoy your other portable media players as well. An IR remote control is included to allow you to control playback from anywhere in the room.
Adapters for various iPods are included, allowing you to use any iPod with a dock connector in the speaker system. Volume can be adjusted using the easy to use controls or via the included remote control. The On Stage III runs on AC or DC power for total portability.

- Compatibility
- The JBL On Stage III is compatible with most versions of the iPod, including the iPod touch, classic, nano 3G. A stereo mini-jack connection also allows you to enjoy high-quality audio from a variety of other devices such as MP3 and CD players, desktop computers and laptops.
- Touch Volume Control
- The unique touch volume control allows you to adjust the output volume easily. A touch will increase or decrease the volume, while touching both controls simultaneously will mute or unmute the speakers.
- OnePoint Connectors
- The OnePoint iPod connectors allow you to connect the speakers directly to your computer's USB port so you can use them as a dock for your iPod. This gives you an integrated solution to charge, playback and update the music on your iPod.
- Ever-charge Technology
- The speakers provide power to charge your iPod even when it's not connected to the computer, even if the system is off. Plug your iPod wall charger into the back of the JBL On Stage III and your iPod will charge with or without the system on.
- Odyssey Transducers
- Sound is driven by 4 aluminum-domed transducers that are driven by neodymium magnets. This gives you excellent sound reproduction from deep bass to high frequencies.
- Remote Control
- The IR remote control allows you to adjust the output volume and control playback of your music from anywhere in the room. This gives you freedom to move around and still retain full control of your listening experience.

These speakers are portable and have a great sound. They are used to provide listening enjoyment for a room full of people. Had to purchase an extender because of the case around my iTouch did not fit in the station.

Gotta love the sound which comes out of this music station. The quality of sound is excellent. Volume adjustment is possible thru the remote or the buttons on the station itself. I like the fact that this unit also operates on batteries. This was once of the selling points.
