I put it on my batter kick mic because it's the only one consistently out of phase with the rest of my drum kit mics and this makes excellent use of the attenuation switch as well. A mic pad of 10 decibals is perfect for this purpose as I still have the option to move the mic around in the kick and adjust the trim w/o maxing it out and still achieving a great signal to noise ratio. I can't say anything bad about it yet as it hasn't failed and who else is making a phase inverter w/ attenuation in the same design?
