Comments about 5029 CobraCrane I:
At the end of the day if the rental houses are all out of jibs this can get the job done, but it's relatively flimsy and unstable. If you're going to use a jib a lot you want to invest in a more expensive model. If you just want add production value to an indie film this is a great way to get some bang for your buck.

We recently used the cobracrane 1 on a shoot and it performed above our expectations. it did every thing we needed, movements were smooth and it was easy to use.

Comments about 5029 CobraCrane I:
The simplistic design makes operating easy out of the box. The crane arm alone is relatively heavy, and not very portable. I used this the same week I bought it for a wedding and it turned quite a few heads as an impressive and professional piece of equipment. Make sure you have a compatible tripod or method to mount the crane.

only drawback was the attachment did not fit my tripod, but I used the one that came with my tripod and it worked.

I have used the cobra crane on many projects with my dslr cameras and the results are fantastic. The movement is great even in tight areas. It can be a little annoying to carry around though unless you have the carrying bag.

Easy to mount on tripod, easy to manipulate.
Would like small weights included in package.
