The PSA-120S from Boss is a 500mA 9V AC adapter for BOSS Compact and Twin pedals, ME-50/-20/-20B Multi-effects, the DB-66/-88/-90 metronomes, DR-Series drum machines, FC-Series foot controllers, MC-202, SH-101, SP-202, TR-626, and all TU-Series tuners.

Had a different 9 volt adapter that worked but made my Boss unit have a strange hum. This unit i found on the B&H site cost less and is the one that the manufacture,Boss< recommends and it works awesome!

Purchased for use with a Boss Metronome which eats batteries. The adapter pays for itself very quickly. The light on the plug is useful to tell if the thing is actually in a live socket.

I bought this to replace my old PSA-120T, which stopped working (broken wire inside flimsy cord). This appears to be a much sturdier model, with a thicker cord, thinner plug (doesn't take up two spaces on my power strip), and a fancy light.

Use mainly with BR-600 - 8 TRACK DIGITAL RECORDER. A must in digital recording. Batteries are good for on the go, but the adapter is really needed for long sessions.

the product came promptly with good packaging (as always). it came in the retail box so it was brand new. i've only had the product for a few weeks now and it works as it was expected to. there is also a good surprise: length. i was expecting to carry around an extension cord with my experiences of previous boss power supplies. BUT to my surprise, the length of this unit gave me a lot more freedom and hassle-free usage of it. i missed the description that it is 10 feet long. and it is definitely more than enough for any usage. i would highly recommend it to anyone.
