I had high hopes for this, being that it's made by Monster. But after about a week, I'm completely disappointed. Sure it works, but I hear static bleeding thru the audio. I've tried everything and I still hear static.

More often than not, this device produces an awful lot of static. I was hoping it would be crystal clear since I live in a remote area with very few FM stations, but it's just not worth the cost.

You may have to do multiple frequency searches to get one that works, and when you do get one it works well, however you may lose that frequency and have to do another. That can be annoying. Nice thing is when it's working it does a good job!

Subaru's don't have a mp3 connection, so my only option for direct connection was to tear apart console and buy a splitter to tap into the antennae. I thought I'd give the radio freq. thing a try first. The iCarPlay gets a great signal over the stereo and has a long cord so that I can position the ipod anywhere. A quality product from Monster cable, absolutly worth the pick! happy, happy, happy.
