The Horseman 400mm f/8 Fujinon T Lens is a Fujinon 400mm T with a standard Copal #1 shutter, but built into a Horseman-specific helical focusing mount and barrel assembly made to fit upon their SW617 Professional medium format panoramic camera. It provides a minimum focusing distance of 72' (22m) upon the 617. Additionally, when using the Fujinon 400mm lens unit with the 6x17, the lens mount of the camera may cause vignetting at both edges of long side of the format by ~1mm each. Thus, the actual size of the format will be ~56x166mm.
The Fujinon T 400mm f/8 is a specialist telephoto lens for large format, with an actual film-to-flange distance of significantly less than 400mm. It provides high contrast, a f/16-22 ideal working aperture, and accepts 67mm filters.
