International orders*The Horseman 23603 Slide Adapter for 14cm allows view-then-capture use of digital backs made to fit Hasselblad or Mamiya 645 cameras when used upon the LD, LD Pro, or other Horseman cameras sharing their 140 x 140mm standard specification.
You attach the Slide Adapter for 14cm to the rear of your camera just as you would attach a Graflok film back, for example, and upon the rear of the Slide Adapter you affix a Horseman adapter plate for Hasselblad H (23692), Hasselblad V (23691), or Mamiya 645 (23693) cameras. You then attach your digital back to the adapter plate.
Additionally, you can use medium format camera lenses as the taking lenses with the Horseman 140 x 140mm cameras. Lensboards with built-in lens mounts are available for mechanical (not electronic) lenses from Hasselblad V (23525), Mamiya 645 (23526), Mamiya RB/RZ 67 (23527), and Pentax 645 & 67 (23528 and 23529, respectively). Of course, the distance range between the standards of your particular Horseman camera will determine if a particular lens can be used-the marked length of the lens' focal length plus the camera system's flange-to-film distance is the approximate distance needed between the standards to achieve infinity focus (all focusing distances shorter than infinity will require a further extension of the camera's standards).
The primary difference in the LD Pro and the remaining Horseman 140 x 140mm cameras is that it allows the use of your medium format camera's shorter focal length lenses as the optic.
