Comments about AverMedia DVD EZMaker USB Gold:
I purchased the product to use for the copying of an old video to a dvd. The original desktop computer I attempted to load to hardware onto (though it did have all the prerequisites) failed after several tries. I proceeded to use an old lap top to which the device successfully installed.
The software, however, was obtuse and unnecessarily complicated. It did not allow for the removal of the background music, despite thinking that I had clicked the sound off icon. Also, you could not have a plain background just some nonsense templates.
But in the end, it got the job done.

Comments about AverMedia DVD EZMaker USB Gold:
Have lots of old vhs tapes. with this device
simply plug into the vcr and the other end into
the usb port. Soft ware works easily. Easy to
see how to record and to edit.
I had no problems at all!
