Numark iDEC Rack-Mounted Playback and Recording Dock for the iPod
The Numark iDEC Rack-Mounted iPod Dock is a convenient player/recorder dock for iPod owners. The iDEC is a capable of playing iPod audio and video, making it a convenient solution for home theaters, commercial A/V systems, bands, DJs, dance studios, etc. The iDEC is also capable of recording audio directly into the iPod at up to 16-bit, 44.1kHz resolution. A USB connection enables the connected iPod to sync with computers directly from the iDEC. Comprehensive transport controls are featured on the front, and standard RCA connections are provided for audio in, audio out and video output.

We installed this product in our dance studios to allow instructors and students to easily play music from their iPods. We have had some issues with durability and have had to replace one of the three units we purchased. The instructors have appreciated the larger interface on the units. Numark has discontinued production of the iDec and is not particularly willing to offer support in trouble shooting.
