The Pelican iM2050 Storm Case with Foam (Olive Drab) is an injection-molded case made of HPX high performance resin, that is virtually unbreakable, dent-resistant and shatter-resistant. It is tough, rugged, lightweight, airtight and watertight. There is a permanently attached Vortex valve that automatically adjusts air pressure without letting in water, and won't unscrew from the case. Press & Pull latches open with the push of a button, yet stay closed securely under impact or stress. The case has unbreakable molded-in hasps that allow the addition of standard size padlocks. It has hinges with integrated feet that hold fast under impact, and create a flat surface for upright stability. It is carried by a double-layered, soft-grip, solid-core handle that provides strong, durable comfort.
This case has a multilayer cubed foam bottom and a convoluted foam pad in the lid.

Comments about Pelican iM2050 Storm Case with Foam (Olive Drab):
I purchased my Pelican case for precious metals storage. The outside look of the case is awesome, looks like military style especially if you get olive drab. The case snaps together firmly and the two padlock hasps make it great for securing valuable items. The pluckable foam makes it easy to customize the storage space. It has a comfortable carry handle that folds away. So far I havent found any negatives for this item.

Comments about Pelican iM2050 Storm Case with Foam (Olive Drab):
I've purchased a number of Pelican and Otter weatherproof cases over the years, to keep camera peripherals in, if I need solid protection and don't want to haul around a backpack. I bought this one to hold a flash, diffuser, charger, remote, and lens hood for my Canon 60D. I like this because, unlike many backpacks, everything is laid out nicely for you and you can customize the foam cutouts. If something hard falls on it, no problem. I can't fit the camera in this one, I think for that I would get something larger. This case has best latches of any so far.
