The 2.5TB VideoRAID ST Add-on Hard Drive Array from Avid is an external SAS hard drive array, designed for use in professional video editing environments. Housed in a mini-tower form factor, this add-on does not include a host adapter card, so it must be used in conjuction with another VideoRAID ST. It is certified for use in Avid editing systems.
- Hot Swappable Drives
- The array chassis features hot-swappable hard drives. This allows you to quickly swap out a disk in the event of a hardware failure. You can also rotate full sets of disks in and out of the enclosure as you work on different projects.
