The ATN NVM14-3P is a mini-monocular with a myriad of capabilities. ATN has engineered this pint-sized night vision powerhouse to be configured in numerous ways to suit nearly every mission-specific requirement you could think of. It can be used hand-held or mounted to a tripod, used hands-free with an optional head or helmet mount, fitted to a camera for covert night-time observation, or co-aligned with a collimated dot/laser sight as part of a formidable weapons sighting system.

The rugged water and shock-proof housing protects your investment from accidental damage and ensures that you can start and finish the task at hand with your optic intact. A built in protection system protects the light intensification system by shutting the unit down after a 10 second exposure to a bright light source. Proprietary coatings minimize the negative effects of flare and glare for the best possible line of sight regardless of the lighting conditions.

Night time viewing is made possible by an ITT Pinnacle 3rd generation image intensifier with a specified resolution of 64-72 lp/mm.

There are many variables that affect the distance that one can see with a night vision device; the object's size, ambient weather and lighting conditions, the level of detail needed for recognition, etc. The important factors to consider when evaluating any night vision device are the generation of the intensifier tube along with its specified resolution and s/n ratio. The magnification, clarity, and light transmission performance of the NVD's optics also contribute to its low/no-light performance capabilities.
