The Gitzo GS5320V75 is a 75mm bowl adapter for Systematic 3/4/5 tripod systems. This adapter is used in place of the standard center column and allows the Systematic tripods to utilize 75mm bowl heads.

I'm using the Gitzo 75mm Bowl Adapter with my Gitzo (GT-5561SGT) tripod and a Manfrotto 504HD video head thta I just purcahsed for filmmkaing work.
It is a nice quaility product as all my Gitzo gear is with no cons at all.

I use a 75mm bowl adapter for leveling video heads. This bowl is also compatible with the Gitzo G-1321 Leveling Platform. Older Gitzo bowls were simply anodized, but this one is coated with a hard layer of Teflon, which makes it much easier to execute fine level adjustments. It fits any Gitzo Systematic tripod, size #3 and larger.

I use this adaptor with a Gitzo GT3541LS 6x CF SYSTEMATIC Tripod to work with a Manfrotto 504HD head for video shooting. It works well and installs in just moments. Solid construction, haven't had any problems with it or any of the others that I've worked with.
When I called B&H's Pro Video department, they told me that this wouldn't work with the tripod I listed above, but they are incorrect, so don't let them tell you the same thing. You just need to be sure to get the "LS" or "Systematic" version of the tripod I listed - I verified this with Gitzo prior to making the purchase, and I just returned from an 8 day shoot using it. Like butter...

What's not to like about a relatively 'cheap' bowl that adds functionality to my existing Gitzo legs. Saves me having had to buy a brand new set of dedicated video legs. Now I can use my still legs and use them for bot photo and video!!

I got this adapter so I could use a Manfrotto 504 video head on my Gitzo 3541XLS systematic tripod. With this adapter; the head works with the tripod flawlessly. The head is easily leveled in the bowl and secured.
