McDSP DE555 - De-Esser Plug-in
The DE555 from McDSP is a de-esser plug-in that delivers transparent and precise processing when dealing with sibilance issues. Intelligent signal analysis allows the plug-in to effectively function at any signal level with no manual input threshold adjustment required.
Continuously adjustable ratio and release controls are included for fine- tuning the de-essing amount, plus a high frequency (HF) only mode can be switched in for reducing the signal level of only the sibilance and not the original dialog.
Key filter options include high pass and band pass filtering. A focus control further enhances the key filter's ability to separate 'essing' from actual dialog. The key filter output can be monitored while real-time displays of processing amounts and key filter response enable quick and easy setup.
The plug-in is available in TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite formats and is compatible with HD, Native and M-Audio Pro Tools systems.
