The Interfit/Paterson Beauty Dish Reflector is often used by professional photographers in portrait and fashion work to produce a concentrated pool of light with a high quality feel and a characteristic round catch light in the eye.
The RF5000 Beauty dish can be used with Tungsten lighting by replacing the standard 500 watt bulb with an INT500 250 watt bulb.
A Soft cover is provided for use with Flash heads to further soften the effects of the Beauty dish while still maintaining the soft lighting effects and catch light in the eye.

Good light quality. The center disk is not securely bolted to the 3 supporting rods. Rather, it relies on spring tension in the rods, and several bends. Overall, good light for the money.

The disk itself was good but you can only use it with the 250w bulb so the output is weak.

Comments about Interfit Stellar Beauty Dish Reflector - 15.5" (39cm):
It's a decent product for the money, however the center piece is a bit flimsey though but once you get it aligned properly the results are pretty good. I also bought the grid which didn't fit properly. I had to use some bungie cord to hold it in place. After that quick fix I also got good results with the grid as well. Lastly the diffuser sock was difficult to put on and once I got past that struggle again I got good results. So with that said if you are willing to deal with these setbacks you can come out with good results and save a few dollars in the process. I'll be buying another one soon.

Comments about Interfit Stellar Beauty Dish Reflector - 15.5" (39cm):
Haven't had an opportunity to shoot more than quick test shot, but I'm pretty pleased with the build and handling. It's not too heavy, but still feels thick enough to resist dings. The optional grid fits fits into a recessed lip which should help prevent troublesome leaks at the edge of the grid, a major annoyance with one of other BD's. The biggest flaw is that the center reflector is a little kludgy and hard to keep aligned, but on balance I'm pleased.

Comments about Interfit Stellar Beauty Dish Reflector - 15.5" (39cm):
This is a bit smaller than most at 15.5 inch. Most are 20. But the size is not that big of a deal. Works perfectly and has a nice light fall off. But as with all beauty dish you really need a grid. If you get the dish, make sure you get the grid with it. If you dont have the grid, you might as well just use a softbox.
