The VX-1000 PS2 & XVGA over Fiber Extender from Smart-AVI can be used to extend signal transmission distances without compromising signal integrity. It is designed to transport PS2 & XVGA signals over fiber-optic cable. Using multi-mode fiber it is possible to achieve transmission distances up to 1200', while single-mode fiber makes it possible to achieve distances up to 6.2 miles. It supports screen resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and color depth is selectable up to 24 bit.
