The 1TB USB External Hard Drive from SmartDisk is a high-capacity drive with an interface that allows it to be connected via USB 2.0, and a rotation speed of 7200rpm.
Backup software for Windows is included, allowing you to use the drive for backup. The drive is an excellent solution for video editing, high-resolution imaging, data backup, or general storage.

I had great espectations regarding with this product. I'd intended to use it as torrent downloader, storage, and printer server. For storage there is no way to set up a different workgroup than standard. As torrent it floods processing, so it's impossible to use and as printer server, it is not stable as well. I was looking for support from manufacturer, but at Verbatin page this product does even exist!

I bought this Verbatim 1TB external hard drive to back up digital photos. Works great so far. Has transfer speeds of about 25Mb/sec on my PC. Very quiet operation. Included cable is only about 2 feet long. The included Nero BackIt software is a nice touch. Seems well built and has a 7 year warranty, which is great. Bought from B&H PhotoVideo, a company I highly recommend.
