The PRE1 from Australian Monitor is a high quality, low cost microphone preamp and part of the company's Contractor Tools series. As such, it is housed in a compact enclosure for unobtrusive installation and features balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" TS phone inputs and outputs.
Switchable 36V phantom power is available. The phantom power switch shares the front panel with a gain control, "Signal Clip" LED, and a "Power ON" LED. The PRE1 is powered by an included 12VDC external power supply.
