I bought this to carry an inexpensive flash becasue I was confident that it would be big enough and the zippered bottom case carries extra batteries and the side pockets hold gels. I couldn't find another case that had all those things. It cost 3/5 the price of the flash.

I am happy that the case holds not just the flash, it also holds the Diffusion Dome, Color Filter Holder and Speedlight Stand. A very nice package.

I own 2 of these from owning 2 SB900s that I bought. I shoot mainly weddings and use the case to store my SB900 on my belt. The problems with this case is that it is made of sub-par material. The seems far apart and the internal cardboard show after about 6 months of use for weddings. In contrast the casing for the SB800 is still going strong after 3 years of use! Having the diffuser stored in the bottom compartment also makes it troublesome to get when you are in a wedding situation. You also cannot slide the flash in the case with the diffuser on...you must remove it first before the flash will fit. This is a pain when you are in a fast-paced shooting environment. Overall, the case may be an adequate case if you use the flash sparingly or for storage. But if you are a heavy flash user that needs to use the diffuser quickly, it is a real pain.

I purchased a Metz AF-48 earlier and had a hard time finding a case. This product was the perfect fit. With a Omni Bounce attached it's just the right length also the small compartment on the bottom can store extra batteries or the Omni Bounce and 4AA batteries when not in use. Plus it's a great price
