The PT649D Rackmountable Dual Cassette Player from Pyle Pro is ideal for home or professional use. This full feature deck can dub tapes at normal or high speed for convenience. The tape mechanism has auto stop with a 3 digit tape counter plus automatic recording level setting plus a selector for chrome tapes.

Very basic, plays cassettes well.
Not much to the design, very straight forward operation, no instructions required. If your looking for a very basic tap player than this is the one to buy. High speed dub does the job.

Works okay. Noise reduction qreatly reduces treble of the recording. This is for sure a no frills unit and looks like one also. It clashes with other pro audio stuff you may have in your rack. If you are just looking for a low price deck then get this one.

The PT649D is a good value. It is well built. It does not automatically play/record both tape sides; this must be done manually. When sound levels are kept around +1 it will makevery good tapes. This is a no frills unit. Don't like the blue color on unit face.

For some time now I've wanted to acquire a cassette deck to transfer some irreplaceable recordings to cd. I looked all over. Couldn't find any friends with one to loan, found some scary looking decks in pawn shops, then I searched the net and came up with this one. B&H had the best price. [...] The deck is nothing fancy, no remote, very few features but it works great and sounds excellent. Perfect solution.
