The Samsung SL310W Digital Camera is a user-friendly point-and-shoot digital camera. Housed in a stylish design, the compact camera features a 13.6 megapixel sensor. Its 3.6x zoom lens covers a 28mm to 102mm field of view. The camera features a Dual Image Stabilization system, helping to put an end to blurry pictures.

The SL310W features an advanced Face Detection algorithm, which can also detect smiles and blinks. The camera also sports a movie mode, 11 scene modes, a self-timer, and automatic white balance.

• 13.6 Megapixel Resolution: The camera's 13.6 megapixel image sensor is able to capture images in extremely high resolution. It features rich color gradation, ensuring that your images look superb. You'll be able to make high-quality prints from the images captured by this camera, even at larger sizes.

• Wide-Angle 3.6x Optical Zoom Lens: The camera's 3.6x zoom lens features wide-angle to telephoto coverage. It offers the equivalent field-of-view of a 28-102mm lens on 35mm film. This ensures that you'll be able to use the camera to take snapshots in confined spaces, as well as to capture objects that are far away.

• Dual Image Stabilization System: The SL310W features an advanced Dual Image Stabilization System. This features both optical and digital stabilization, ensuring that pictures are crisp and clear, even when using the camera in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

• Face Detection: The camera's Face Detection mode helps to improve the quality of snapshots. It works to properly focus on faces, as well as to adjust exposure. This helps when taking photos with the sun behind your subject.

• Blink Detection and Smile Shot: The camera also features a Blink Detection function, which automatically takes multiple exposures when the subject has closed eyes. Smile Shot automatically takes a photo when your subject is smiling.

• Self-Portrait Mode: You can turn the camera on yourself with the Self-Portrait mode, the camera makes an audible beep when your face is properly framed. Up to 3 faces can be recognized in this mode; small group shots are easy to take at arm's length with the camera's wide-angle lens.

• Convenient Mode Dial: The camera's mode dial allows you to easily switch between shooting modes. Other manual controls include zoom, trash, macro, flash, and self-timer.

• Movie Mode: The camera can capture video clips via its movie mode function. Clips are taken in MPEG-4 AVI format, and include audio.

• Internal and Expandable Memory: The camera features 30MB of internal memory for image storage. This can be expanded via the Secure Digital slot, which also supports high-capacity SDHC memory.

• 2.7" LCD Display: The 2.7" LCD display allows you to frame and review images with ease. It features a 230,000-pixel resolution, allowing you to confirm that your images are properly composed, exposed, and focused.

• Recycle Bin: The camera's Recycle Bin function ensures that you won't accidentally delete a precious image. Rather than removing deleted images from the memory card, it simply moves them into a trash folder. These will be kept until you 'take out the trash' by erasing the memory card.
