Balkan Lines from Big Fish Audio is a sample library that combines a touch of pure Balkan tradition (Gypsy, Turkish, Serbian, Greek, Romanian, Slavic and other South-Eastern European influences) with contemporary and progressive rhythms. The library is delivered within a plug-in that also contains a built-in sample player.
Thousands of grooves and phrases are included with some complex acoustic/synthetic rhythmic blending. The contemporary styling includes a diverse assortment of rhythms from reggaeton to house, R n' B, hip hop, as well as traditional pop influences. Balkan Lines was produced in close cooperation with Orkestar, a celebrated Balkan brass band, and the violinist Aref Shakouri.
