This program is not the latest, so, like many useful things, it has been deemed obsolete even when its utility is far from over. Don't order your software online directly from Adobe because they are already into Version 10 (X). No worries, though. If you have Windows Vista for instance, and you want to upgrade your Adobe Reader with the basic software that will actually let you input information into forms online or send a .pdf, this is all you need. Grab it before every last one on the planet gets sent back to the warehouse!

We use this product for our business, to create PDF files of quotes, spec sheets, submittals, etc.
Acrobat is the standard in business, and it works great for us.
One of the most useful features is the automatic text recognition. A lot of times we get PDF files from customers created from scans, meaning that the paper has text on it, but it is locked into an image, since it was scanned as a whole. This new Adobe Acrobat software has a feature that will scan the document looking for text, and then convert it into actual text that you can edit. Very cool.
Overall a product that will enhance your productivity. Don't really use the other features, but the forms ability would be good if you needed to retrieve information from customers.
