I bought several lens cases for my Canon Eos DSLR lenses. The lenses are doubly secure as I store/transport them in these cases inside an equiptment backpack.
Love it!!

The best word to describe this fellow is convenient. It allows you to keep moving without your camera bag when you just need to carry an extra lens with you.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 40 Lens Case:
I rely primarily on two lenses for my D90 - the Nikon 18 - 200mm "all purpose", and a Tokina 100mm macro. This case will house either lens securely. When afoot, I keep the case on my belt with its belt loop, and interchange the lenses as appropriate for my shooting. No need to carry anything else but a tripod.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 40 Lens Case:
I bought this case with the Tamron 90mm/Macro lens, not seeing that it does come with a case. Oh well, I will use it for my other lenses, it has a nice feel to it and has belt lanyard to sit on your waist or strap it to your camera case strap.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 40 Lens Case:
Very well built and designed. Great value when you consider the alternatives. My only complaint is that it is a little too tight. This was recommended by B&H for the Nikon 105mm F2. But I had to remove the padding in the bottom to make it fit.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 40 Lens Case:
Has a sturdy belt loop with a velcro lock for easy on/off. Small compartment in lid convenient for holding 1 or 2 filters. Solid, well padded case that holds my Pentax 50-200mm nicely. Will use for hiking so sprayed with waterproofing spray for additional protection.
