Well builded, just enough for a 200mm f2.8, no more.
No sealed zipper, but for the price, it's really a good product.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 60 Lens Case:
I use this to hold my 24-70mm L series Canon lens when not in use. It protects from dust, lint, and scratches and there is some room left for a longer lense if needed. The only thing I wish for is a bit more padding on the bottom for the lense. Overall it was a great buy. Thanks B&H also for the quick shipment. I will be ordering more Pearstone products in the future.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 60 Lens Case:
I did quite a bit of searching for a case that would fit my Tamron 70-300 mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD. All the other cases I could find were either too short or too tall. The Onyx 60 has near-perfect dimensions for this telephoto lens.
The interior diameter is just right and does accommodate the hood mounted in reverse. Padding is plenty thick, zippers work well and it has a sturdy 4-1/2" x 2-1/4" velcro belt attachment on the flat-sided back in addition to the four loops. For the price, this case is quite well made and is a bargain for sure.
My one nit would be the interior length. The published interior size is 6.9 inches. I measured my lens with both caps, and it is 6.5 inches. However, it turns out the lid of the case fits a tad snug on the lens when closed. I was expecting some gap. Not a big issue, as the padding will compress to fit exactly after a few uses. The lens is nicely protected and won't move around if you are carrying it on a strap or belt.
Overall, if you are looking for a case to fit this Tamron or a similar telephoto, I definitely recommend it. I'll certainly look to Pearstone again for my next case purchase.

Seems like really great construction and configuration. Turned out way bigger than my lens diameter but easily padded with some packaging packing. Now, can use it for other stuff if necessary.

I have 2 of them. One for my Canon 100mm L macro lense and the other for my Canon 100-300mm zoom lense. They fit both lenses great.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 60 Lens Case:
Bought this case along with an Onyx 50. Both products are outstanding. This one was intended to house a Canon EF 70-300 zoom. According to the published specs for the case (depth) and lens (length), it should have just fit. Unfortunately it's a bit too tight for comfort. I think this is because the published figure for lens overall length doesn't include the end caps, which in this case add just a little too much length. I take the blame for this. If in doubt, order the next larger case. Luckily, I can use this one for other lenses.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 60 Lens Case:
I am new to the lens case on the belt thing, so this was a big step for me. It worked great for shooting a wedding - I was able to keep all of my lenses that I might need with me. The case is very durable and has good padding, and I never once worried about it coming loose from my belt.

I use this case to carry a spare lens when walking around. It's roomy enough to hold a larger lens 70-300mm or it can hold a smaller lens with accessories.
