This is not a photo printer, although it will print pictures that is not what it is intended for. We are using it mostly for business. (printing documents, receipts etc.) Very fast print speeds.
Some complain that it is noisy and it IS a bit louder than some other printers. That is not an issue to me.
This is my second Epson and I would definitely recommend it.

I use it almost exclusively for B&W printing, also Epson has made it impossible to use second party ink cartridges. Epson's are very expensive. I will be giving the printer away once the cartridges are used up. The printer is also very noisy. The print quality is fine. If you plan to do mostly B&W printing, done get this printer.

When my old Epson C88+ died, I needed an inexpensive general-purpose color inkjet that did a good job with proof color prints. The WorkForce 30 was just the ticket. With 5-cartridge printing, the color gamut is quite good, and it's surprisingly fast. For the price, there's nothing nearly as good from anyone else.

General printing as well as speciality items print very well. Printer menu offers a lot of useful options for just about any application. I like Epson - this supplemented another Epson C120. They are almost identical & I wanted another like I had as it has served me well. 3rd Epson printer I've owned in 10+yrs (1 died after much hard use). Like small footprint as space is at a premium here.
Only thing I don't like (but to me wasn't a deal-breaker) is a #10 envelope must be fed on it's edge, not it's top (or bottom). Use it several times each day, often multiple pages.

I use this printer for general printing and for printing on fabric for mixed media projects. I have not had a chance to use it a lot since getting it, but have always been happy with Epson printers and expect to be happy with this model. My only complaint so far is that it is VERY noisy when pulling the paper.

I purchased this printer and I must say it is an amazing machine. The Workforce 30 uses five separate ink cartridges, three color and two black. The speed at which it prints was startling. Compared to my old printer, which only chugged along at a snails pace, this Epson unit is like a formula one race car. I love the fact that you only replace the empty color cartridge and that the unit can accept the many after-market continuous flow ink systems available out there today. Adding an after-market ink system may void your warranty, but the low price of this printer makes that a non-issue. The Workforce 30 and 40 are available in wifi-capable versions as well. Overall, this is an excellent peripheral to any desktop printing operation and is highly recommended. I did a lot of research on affordable printers before making this purchase and couldn't be happier with the results.

I just wanted a printer, not an all-in-one. This printer worked great right out of the box. It's also quieter than my old Epson. Loading paper from the top allows me to print on some heavier stock which is a plus for my application. Color output is good also. Great printer for the price.

The color head on my HP G95 all in one printer died and I needed a way to print color without breaking the bank. The Workforce 30 fit that role perfectly. Excellent quality with quick output make it a grat printer for me. Oh and the [$] rebate didn't hurt either.
