Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
I recently purchased this case for my new 70-200 f/4L IS. It is well padded and fits great with my 70-200. Canon, for some reason, sells their f/4 lens with a cheap unpadded cover. So the Onyx 70 is a great upgrade for half the price of a new canon unpadded case.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
This is a very nice lens bag. It holds now my 75-300 Sony lens. However there is still enough room at the top to keep my Opteka x.20 fisheye adaptor. I am very pleased with this product.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
This case fits my 70-300 perfectly! It is well padded and sturdy and appears well made too. It also has a belt loop or pack attachment in the back. The only thing I wish it had would be a handle on top. But really, you cant' beat this for the price and it does it's job of protecting my lens.

Nice case with a great price. The Nikon 80-200 fits nicely. Note that the hood does not fit in the case with the lens.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
Use it all the time. Very handy. Even Velcros to your belt. Makes changing lenses on the fly fast. Protects very well. Would not be without it. My Lowpro is a backpack and it is very full so having another means of storage is great

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
I wanted a less-expensive case for a Canon 70-200 F/4 L and this case fits the bill. The lens fits perfectly with the tripod ring mounted and will give me a way to change lenses when wearing my utility belt. Cheaper is not always better but in this case, you can save a few bucks without sacrificing quality.

The Onyx 70 lens case fits my Canon 70-200mm perfectly. A lot better than the soft pouch Canon provide with the lens.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
I bought this for my Canon 2.8 / 100-300 and it fits the lens perfectly. Seems very durable. It is bulky due to the padding but lightweight. Not much more to say except I think it is a good deal and I am happy with it.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
This case is nothing fancy. However, it is sturdy and does the intended job. I would recommend this if you're not looking for anything too elaborate (such as a Lowepro backpack with lots of zippers and removable padding).

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
B&H recommends the Onyx 60 for the 70-300 VR Nikon, but I got the vibe from the other reviews that it may be a bit snug. I moved up to the Onyx 70 and am very happy with the double lock Velcro, roomy size for the 70-300 and adequate padding. Good deal for the price!

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 70 Lens Case:
I bought this for my Canon 70-200 f/4 L IS lens. It is a perfect fit with the lens hood attached, so I am very pleased. Padding seems sufficient.
There is a mesh sleeve in the inside of the lid, but it is very small. I'm not sure what I could put there. For now I'll just keep the silica gel packet that came with the case in there.
I will probably not use the belt loop features. But I'll point out that the main belt loop has a surprising amount of velcro area, so I think it would be pretty secure for most situations.
I plan to use a few of these Onyx cases to bring extra lenses in my daypack on hiking trips. I don't have a lot of gear, so a few lens cases + filter wallet will be a better solution for me than trying to find a single camera bag of the perfect size for everything.
