Comments about Pearstone Onyx 80 Lens Case:
I was looking for a lens case for my canon 70-300 IS L lens. It is a little on the big side, but I ordered this size so I could put lens filters in it also. Very Pleased

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 80 Lens Case:
For the price I can't complain. Sturdy and is just the right size for my 80-200 Nikon lens. It would be nice if it came with a shoulder strap.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 80 Lens Case:
Very well made product. I use it to carry Nikon 70-300 VR (with the lens hood reversed). The case is a bit too wide for this lens, but maybe I'll own some heavier tele in the future...
One of the major advantages is the small weight of this case, which is important if you have to be in the field for many hours.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 80 Lens Case:
I was impressed with the quality of Pearstone's lens case. It is very well made, well padded to protect your lens, the lining is actually an acetate type of material rather than the velveteen that was mentioned in the description, which I feel is better. No "shedding" of velveteen on the lens. The onyx 80 is the perfect size for your 70-200mm lenses, I use it for my F4 IS and am able to also use the hood reversed on the lens within the case. The fact that the outer material is weather resistant and of a very tough 600 denier nylon, lets you carry this case outdoors in any type of weather without worry. There are reinforced belt loops on either side of the case for easy carry on your belt, or use the webbed eyelet loops for a shoulder strap. A very versatile, well made case for an economical price. Glad I bought it.
