The cable allows you to capture still images using an external shutter release switch, add a custom push button interface by wiring an external switch, as well as add an external input for custom applications. This interface also gives you access to the three dedicated LEDs on the HYPEYE D PRO, which can be used as an altitude warning indicator or adapted for other indications.
