The Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera is incredibly durable, sleek and stylish, combining rugged body construction with shock-absorbing materials and waterproof seals, making it the ultimate pocket camera, and a must-have vacation and party accessory. It incorporates a high quality 3x zoom lens and a capture resolution of 10.1 megapixels to provide beautiful images. Plus it is loaded with features to make shooting easy and fun. Twenty-eight shooting modes are built into the camera to cover many common shooting situations including Candle, Sports and Underwater modes to take perfect shots with a minimum of fuss and effort.
Other unique features include the tap control feature that lets users access select camera features by simply tapping the camera, Face Detection which automatically focuses and optimizes exposure for sharp, brilliant portrait pictures, and Digital Image Stabilization that uses the cameras high ISO sensitivity and faster shutter speeds to freeze the action and capture sharp, blur-free images even if you or your subject is moving. Comments about Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera (Blue):
Good camera but slow to take shots.. In couple of pictures you could see shadows above people's head even before I tried the camera on water...
Except by the shadows, the picture quality is really good.

Great camera for my active son. He loves to ski and skim board. Nice that this camera lets him take it places others did not. Likes the video option too.

Comments about Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera (Blue):
I have resisted purchasing a digital camera because we've had issues with cameras getting dropped in the past. I bought this one due to how rugged it is, but I am extremely happy with the quality of the pics and functionality! Everyone who looks at my camera says how nice and big the screen is! I made a second purchase to get a case for the camera; should have done this from the start.

Comments about Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera (Blue):
So far so good with this camera. I bought it for it's shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof features. We ride horses alot and regular digital point and shoots take quite a beating. This one is holding up to the rigors :) I also like the tap feature. Very conveinent to operate camera with gloves on.
