The Nikon D300 with the 70-200 f/2.8 lens with the lens shade reversed is a nice fit in this bag. There is an adjustable/removable velcro divider for use with shorter lenses so you could carry a teleconverter or another short lens in the nose.
I have 3 Tamrac bags and like them all. They protect from the weather, the padding is good, they have a couple of pockets for batteries and small accessories, are well made, and are secure yet easy to get into... in short, great bags for going "light".
No, I don't work for Tamrac :=)) Just an old retired guy that likes these bags.

Ok
I really needed a bag be teen this size and the next smaller size but that was not an option. So this is a bit big for my needs but works just fine.

First of all I should say that it took so lOng to find this case as I was very surprised to find out that there was not even one other single case except this one that could hold a canon D7 attached to a 300mm fixed lens. It is not only good product but also probably only available one for the combination of 300mm+Canon 7D.

The bottom of the bag hold my 16 - 85 Nikon zoom, above it, I can easily fit my D90 with attached 50mm 1.8 lens. I find the strap more comfortable than the belt loop. Cards and a back-up battery fit neatly in the front pocket.

Comments about Tamrac 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Bag (Black):
I bought the 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Bag because I was looking for a holster that can accommodate my D90 with a Nikon 14-24mm/f2.8 lens attached to it. The Zoom 10 is large enough for this purpose, and beneath a removable/adjustable padded divider, there is just enough space for my AF-S 50 mm/f1.4 lens. The divider is firmly held in place by vertically running velcro tape that is 7" long, so that the size of the bottom compartment can be customized to a large extent. The front pocket is big enough to hold a small digital camera the size of the Coolpix S8000. On each side of the holster is one loop intended for Tamrac's Modular Accessory System, which I use to attach a case with an extra lens, a water bottle holder, or the pouch that holds my external flash.
I personally prefer the holsters of the "Pro Digital Zoom" series over those of the "Zoom Pack" line because of their thicker padding.

Use to carry D90 with 70-200 2.8 VR with 1.7 teleconverter with hood reversed. Carrying strap is comfortable and works good with accessory belt. Highly recommend.

I've been looking for a holster/top loader bag for my new toy Sigma 50-500mm, f4.5-6.3 with OS for two months until I read from one of the Bigma users recomendation. [...] I haven't found any flaws yet but if there's any I'm sure it would be very minor. Overall, I like this bag, it met my requirements and would recomend to somebody.

This bag is used to protect a very important piece of equipment from damage as I travel from place to place.
It fits the equipment excellent and cushions it from bumping against hard objects that could cause damage
Although it has room for most extra equipment there is a need for additional room at times.

Comments about Tamrac 5630 Pro Digital Zoom 10 Bag (Black):
This bag was the only option I could find that would fit just my Sigma 100-300EX f/4 attached to a body. With just the lens and body (Canon 5D2 no grip) it fits perfect, when I add a 1.4x teleconverter it becomes a tight fit, but still fits. I've also got a spare battery and memory card in it. Now I don't need to carry my backpack everywhere when I want my telephoto attached and ready to go.
My only gripe is I wish the bag came with an all weather cover like the Lowepro's for when I get caught outdoors in the weather.

My Pentax K7, 200mm lens, and hood fits like a hand in a glove, giving me quick access to the camera for those unexpected nature scenes. The bag is light and roomy, easy to carry. Just perfect. Pockets for extra battery and memory card, plus a polarizer.

Holster works well. I purchased the chest harness to go with it. I don't like it with the harness, it rubbed on my chest. Now I just use the shoulder strap that came with it, and another strap around the waste and that works perfectly. I would like to see a little more room in the front pouch. The pouch is big enough in the X and Y but needs to be a bit thicker. I mean, if you have a lot of "flat" things, it will work well, but you can fit a flash or anything much thicker than 1/3 inch. Pouch seems very durable and well built. Offers good protection.

Holds my Pentax K10D with battery grip and Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 lens attached with ease and room to spare. Tamrac MAS system also facilitates attaching two additional accessory bags to side of main bag.
It it quite bulky when all is said and done, but what do you expect when shlepping around such a large camera and lens?

Great carry for two small lens or camera with large lens. I use for 70-200 with digital camera. Great for when a full bag of gear is not needed. The pocket on the front sized well for extra cards, batteries, with couple filters. I have not yet added, but the MAS system with belts allows for extra carriers if needed.

Camera/lens very secure. Easy in/out.Holster bag is well padded [with accompanying bulk], secure with zipper and buckle; weather-proof. Carrying strap extremely comfortable. When ordering this type of bag be sure to measure camera/lens length, and compare it to the interior dimensions of the bag. I use it for a Nikon D90 [no winder] with Tokina 50-135 f/2.8 w/attached lens shade.

I carry a digital SLR w/ 150-500 lens mounted. The case is comfortable to carry and provides excellent protection and accessibility. A stiffer collar would make zipping up a bit easier, but this is a small potato. A good product.

This bag does the job. Thought it would be a tad bit bigger. It holds my Nikon D3 and 70-200 VR but just barely. Will I use it? You bet. Will it hold up? If it's as good as the other Tamrac gear I own without a doubt.
