Tamrac MX5341 M.A.S. Lens Case - Pro 50 (Black)
The black MX5341 M.A.S. Lens Case - Pro 50 from Tamrac is a 600 denier Ripstop PolyTek nylon lens case with closed-cell foam padding and a weather flap. This case is designed to fit most wide angle zoom lenses (such as a 16-35mm f/2.8) with shades (reversed) and other lenses up to 5.5" (14cm) long with a filter size of 82mm. It is part of the M.A.S. (Modular Accessory System) that allows photographers to customize and personalize their backpacks, shoulder bags and cases by using accessories that quickly attach to the M.A.S attachment slots. This case will also attach to any belt or to the Tamrac Modular Accessory Belt. The case has a carrying handle and a belt loop.

I purchased this case to carry both WC-DC58B & TC-DC58C 2X lenses for my Canon G9 - it is a perfect fit. Additionally, I can use it for my 16-35L lens when using my DSLR. I like that I can attach it to either my belt or to the Tamrac 5513 Adventure Zoom case using the M.A.S.
Like other Tamrac products I own, the quaility is very high and the padding is excellent.
I highly recommend this product.

I bought the MX5341 M.A.S. case to go along with a Tamrac Velocity 6 case.
First, I like traveling light when I shoot and I don't always need extra lenses, flash, etc. With this case, it can be securely attached to the bag when needed or quickly removed when not needed.
Also, the back loop can be opened to attach to any loop, a feature sorely missing from most lens cases.

I bought this to use with a Nikon 85mm f1.4d lens with the hood attached. It does fit but with a bit too much play from side to side. Tamrac's website lists this case to fit this lens.
Lowepro's case 4s is way too large and their 1 case is not deep enough, so this is the best I've found for this lens so far.
It attaches well(just barely)to the side loop on my Crumpler 6 Mill bag.
