Tamrac MX5347 M.A.S. Lens Case - Pro 200 (Black)
The black MX5347 M.A.S. Lens Case - Pro 200 from Tamrac is a 600 denier Ripstop PolyTek nylon lens case with closed-cell foam padding and a weather flap. This case is designed to fit most pro telephoto zoom lenses (such as a 70-200mm f/2.8) with shades (reversed) and other lenses up to 9.5" (24cm) long with a filter size of 77mm. It is part of the M.A.S. (Modular Accessory System) that allows photographers to customize and personalize their backpacks, shoulder bags and cases by using accessories that quickly attach to the M.A.S attachment slots. This case will also attach to any belt or to the Tamrac Modular Accessory Belt. The case has a carrying handle and a belt loop.

The quality of the case is good, and it fits my Canon 100-400 well... but not with the lens hood. The lens with hood will fit but it's extremely tight in diameter with some extra room in length. I think the Canon case for this lens fits my needs better but probably provides a bit less protection.

this lens case is tough though. I wouldn't trust nothing else to care my 70-200 VR II with the hood on. Easy to attach on your belt and very safe. My workflow now is much easier switching between those 2 lenses I usually care when out.

This is a good, large protective case. I use it to hold my EF 70-200mm f/4L and my EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lenses. Where it is a little too large to carry on an accessory belt, I feel confident about its bump and weather protection when I store my spare lens in a messenger bag while on a shoot in the city.

I really like the material. The size is nice as well. I currently use it to hold my 580 flash and accessories.
The only downside about the case is the location of the loop strap. It's set a little high so when I place it on my camera case, it actually hangs too low off of it. It's hard to explain but if you get a chance to place it on your camera case before you buy, you will see what I mean.
