The 90W Smart Air/Auto/AC Combo Adapter for Pavilion and Presario from Hewlett-Packard is designed to act as a replacement or spare power adapter for HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario notebooks. The adapter is designed to function in the United States but can also function in Europe with a plug adapter. You'll also be able to use it to power your notebook from a standard car "Cigarette Lighter" outlet or from an airplane power outlet. These power input capabilities give professionals real options to power their notebook while traveling.

Some people have complained about having to push a button to charge the battery. It's not really a problem for me. My biggest complaint is it seems underpowered for my dv7-4190 laptop. When I plug it in, I get a message that the power supply is not supplying enough power and that performance may suffer as a result. Considering the cost of this thing, why is it only 90 watts? I would recommend to a friend, but with a warning.

Works good; I do not like the way it defaults to running computer and not charging battery. Each time you plug it in you have to remember to press a button to have it charge battery.
