Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Notebook QuickDock Docking Station 2.0 for Pavilion and Presario:
I'm used to real docking stations, so this dockette looked a little disappointing at first. However, it works just fine! All you need to do is connect everything to the device and then use one cable to connect to the HP laptop. With six USB ports along the usual slots for ethernet, monitor, etc I can move back and forth from portable to desk very easily.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Notebook QuickDock Docking Station 2.0 for Pavilion and Presario:
My son needed a docking station for his dorm room at school. This fit the bill perfectly for him. It works for his homework and allows him to play his games on a larger screen. The docking station was plug-n-play without the need to download drivers to make it work. Excellent product that performs very well.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Notebook QuickDock Docking Station 2.0 for Pavilion and Presario:
This is an essential piece for the mobile user and commuter. My biggest problem is always the sync of files between notebook and desktop, which I am avoiding by using only my notebook, on the go and on my desk, with my regular display and keyboard.
Great product.

The only main issue I have with this docking station is the cable that connects to the cpu. The cable is to stiff, should be longer and more flexible.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Notebook QuickDock Docking Station 2.0 for Pavilion and Presario:
In addition to the commodity of plugging in all your peripherals with just one click of connector, QuickDock expands the connectability of the HP notebook to 6 USB ports, and provides an SPDIF coaxial output which allows the playback of digital audio (5 channels) of Movie DVD's. And, what is more, no configuration is required. Just plug and play! A real value, indeed!
