The Notebook QuickDock Docking Station 2.0 for Pavilion and Presario from Hewlett-Packard allows you to use your compatible notebook at your desk without disconnecting several cables. Simply connect your peripherals to the docking station, connect your laptop and you are ready to start working. This is a great solution for the professional who uses a laptop as their primary computer at the office and on the go.
Laptop to Desktop
The docking station allows you to easily use your notebook computer just like a desktop computer. It has connections for a VGA monitor, six USB devices, headphones or speakers, microphone, Ethernet, RCA composite video output, S-Video output, and coaxial S/PDIF audio output. Simply add your laptop to the mix and you won't be able to tell the difference between using it and a standard desktop computer.
Your notebook will run off AC power through the docking station when connected, allowing you to charge your battery as you work. This lets you save your battery for when you need to use it.
You can easily connect and disconnect your laptop from the docking station via a single cable. This saves a lot of time that is spent looking for cables and making sure they are going into the right port on your laptop, as well as the time that is spent disconnecting cables when you need to take your computer with you.
The docking station is compatible with the following notebooks from HP:
HP Pavilion dv4, dv5, dv6, dv7, dv2000, dv6000, dv9000, tx2, tx1000, tx2000 series; HP HDX 16, 18 series; Compaq Presario CQ45, V3000, V6000 series
