Presents an excellent overview of HDV versus DV. Lots of information about the Sony HC series of Camcorders. Emphasizes the HC9 throughout.
Clear demonstrations of the menus and settings and the effect on final recordings. Helped me understand how to set up a personal menu and delete unneeded shortcuts I seldom use, yet restore them if needed.
Basic and advanced concepts in video shooting and editing are presented in easily understood terms.
Demystifies video standards, formats, and the terminology used to describe camcorders and video.
Instructor is clear and understandable, uses a quick, but smooth delivery.
ONLY CON: Needs motion shots and outdoor shots to demonstrate certain camcorder features.
