Works just as expected based on the reviews I read. While some people might like the use of pressing a key sequence on the keyboard to change from one device to the other, I like just pressing a button. Yes, it is one extra cord but it is quite simple and it passes the wife test. No complains and it works with my wireless Logitech keyboard mouse combo. The wireless adapter only has one USB, but it still works correctly. All in all a great product for a great price.

A needed item for switching between workstation monitors. It is a little slow, too much black screen time between displays. I believe there are also KVM switches that use an existing key stroke instead of the attached button / switch found with this devise. Seems like high quality design and execution - just lacking in speed.

I took a chance buying this switch. I use it to switch the keyboard and video but I have a separate ps2 mouse on each machine. It works fine this way - and takes only a single USB slot to use it this way.

After a while it is working without a hitch.
Initially, I couldn't connect it to my notebook computer because the vga connector is on one side of the notebook, the usb connectors are on the other side, and the cables won't reach across. IOGEAR Support was absolutely useless. They offered to sell me more cables. My solution is to cut the cables apart so they reach.
When I first installed the switch I had trouble with the display of my notebook. After switching, it would display the wallpaper but not the desktop or applications. I switched cables between the computers and have had no trouble since.

Built-in cables make the unit far less bulky. I really like that the actual button you press to switch between your computers/servers is small, discreet, and on a long cable. This allows you to hide all the ugly cables out of sight.
Another bonus for my particular use is that you can use either the VGA, USB, or both, you don't need all the cables plugged in.

Works great with my Macbook pro and PC connected to the same monitor, I wish the usb slots were a little more spaced apart, and sometimes when I switch back to my mac the usb keyboard and mouse don't register, but that's only sometimes.
