When I bought the Fast Track Pro, it came bundled with Ableton Lite. Also included at no additional charge was this handy little microphone. This rugged unit is best suited for broadcast events such as rally's, lectures, church events, etc. In my use of the Fast Track Pro I use video type shotgun microphones as they are more selective than an omni-directional, dynamic is going to be. This microphone however, might be applied in instrument recording quite effectively. Good product, for what it is.

Not Bad For Free
I would use this mic to practice voice-overs, but it is very sensitive to popping p's and the protective screen falls off.

I use this for interviews / on the sidelines reporting at football games and it's been great. I plug it directly into my 60D via XLR - mini adapter and it's very portable and easy to set up quick for run and gun shooting.

Comments about M-Audio Broadcast - Dynamic Vocal Handheld Microphone:
I have been using this to try to record some music and voice overs and simply put this mic is no good. The handling noise is terrible and if you touch it at all it sounds like the world is going to explode. You have to set it up on a stand and not come anywhere close to touching it but even then the quality is not very good and still pics up every ambient noise you are trying to avoid. I got this mic for free with a interface and its a good thing too. I would never pay for this mic and if you are thinking about it please do yourself a favor and buy any other mic on the market or even just start yelling into your computers on board mic would step above this thing.

I use this to record guitars and vocals. There is slightly more feedback than I would like but I guess that can be fixed through the noise gate and other tools. Overall sturdy mic.

I'm new to this game of audio recording so I can only give you a noob's perspective. This is a handy little mic. B&H packaged this on for free with my m audio fast track pro purchase! Very cool. All in all I know there are very high end mics that blow this away but this one does the job for my needs.

I purchased this mic for only a few dollars off of [...]. I was in need of another few microphones for a gig and I do not regret it. These little microphones are awsome. I now also use them in my studio as instrument microphones. They record great with little to no background noise. So I would recommend these
