The AH-D2000 headphones from Denon provide superior sound quality in a lightweight and comfortable package. The magnesium frame keeps the weight down, while the adjustable headband and thick around-ear cushions provide long-lasting comfort.
Several high-quality components provide the best audio reproduction possible. Compound metal housings increase density for clarity and stability, while microfiber diaphragms faithfully reproduce the fine details that occur in concert halls. An acoustic optimizer adjusts the sound pressure in front of and behind the diaphragm to balance out low and mid range frequencies.
The OFC copper cable has terrific transmission properties, ensuring a clear, clean signal with no degradation. A cloth mesh jacket provides protection and durability. The gold-plated 3.5mm stereo mini plug is compatible with a wide variety of consumer devices, while the included 1/4" adapter allows you to connect to professional-level equipment.

Comments about Denon AH-D2000 High-Performance Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I did a lot of research as well as asking around to purchase these headphones for my husband. He works on a computer all day and listens to music. These are so comfortable he forgets that he's wearing them. He also works in an office so the open headphones weren't an option as they leak sound easier. He loves them for gaming and listening to acoustic tunes. If you want a cream of the crop sound without paying $1000+ these are a good option.

Comments about Denon AH-D2000 High-Performance Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I never considered paying $300 for headphones before a friend let me borrow his AH-D2000. These headphones provide resonance and clarity that reveals new details and nuances in songs I've listened to for years. Though I use these headphones to listen to my iPod, my main use for these 'phones is to plug into my electronic drum kit, and the sound quality is so good it's as if I bought a new drum kit. I found myself reexamining all the sounds and presets of my drums, discovering the true capability of an instrument I've been playing intensely for months. For studio and home use, these headphone deliver the sound quality I crave. Though beware that the cord is long and bulky; not ideal for using out and about. These headphones are better suited for home and studio use.
