The MXL V87 Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a modestly priced recording and broadcast microphone for the project studio, home studio, etc. The microphone features a condenser element and low noise output stage that ensures pristine audio quality. Its cardioid polar pattern is effective in rejecting off-axis noise and feedback. The V87 features a standard 3-pin XLR output, requires +48V phantom power and includes a shockmount.
