This thing is awesome! OK, all we needed was a way to connect our microphone to our computer... and for it to WORK! Guess what, it does! Simple plug and play, highly recommended. BTW, none of my software had an issue recognizing the mic.

I needed to send a radio news reporter in the field with the capability to record on a laptop. A PCMCIA sound card was out of the budget and would have been cumbersome for the reporter. Plug the MicMate into a USB port and it is ready to go. I would buy this again if the need arises.
