The BeachTek Mix-2 Passive Audio Mixer for Camcorders features 2 XLR audio inputs and a single XLR audio output. The passive mixer is designed to compliment any video camera with an XLR input, and mix 2-channels of audio from microphones, line level devices, etc.

The Mix-2 is completely passive, requiring no external power to operate. Quiet passive attenuator dials control input level and 24V phantom power is passed to condenser microphones. The Mix-2 is easily mounted onto camcorders or tripods.

    This is a simple but useful product that allows me to do on-camera audio mixing from two wireless mics. The mixing pots are noiseless and its quality is better than expected. I like the metal enclosure--it was worth the price. The camcorder mounting screw and tripod jack are nice touches, although I didn't use them on my application.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
