I purchased this lens for my FX1000 to do wider shots of rooms and interiors. Works well for the price. This lens is not High-End, but is a suitable alternative to spending major $$ for a add-on lens. There is a slight and noticeable curve/fish-eye to the image,on the edges of the view, and mostly when close to vertical lines, such as a door frame.
The bayonet mount is great; easily mounting the lens in just a few seconds. It cannot be used with a screw-in filter, such as a UV, which I usually leave on the camera. But the wide angle lens is one that will be used only during certain instances, so taking the UV filter off is not a big deal.

I use with SONY-Z7,like wery mutch quick relise,not so heawy, haw litl distortion on edges, but I like this effect,good for filming comercials and musik videos.
