Comments about Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f/2.0 Manual Focus M Mount Lens - Black:

I purchased this lens to provide more coverage than my 35mm Summicron.
The build quality is first-rate. I like the focusing tab; it provides a familiar feel when using the lens on my M6. My only quibble is the lens shade - external mounting threads on the lens & the shade didn't stay secure on the lens.
The lens is sharp. A bit soft on the edges @ f/2; but who cares; you're usually shooting in poor light at 1/30th anyway. Stopped down the lens is sharp across the field. Set it to f/8, zone focus and you can shoot all day 'from the hip'. I shoot B&W film. The lens produces contrasty results, some of this can be tamed by adjusting processing times. I bought the lens w/the aux. viewfinder. This also exhibited first-class build quality. Overall, a good lens in an affordable package. I'd recommend the lens w/out reservation.

Comments about Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f/2.0 Manual Focus M Mount Lens - Black:

I use the lens with the M8 primarily for street shots. It just work wonders focusing is spot on not as sharp as the leica , thats the reason why i love this lens. and you cant beat F2.0 you will have no problems in low light in most cases. get this lens
