This is a real leather case and fits very elegantly my Nikon Coolpix P6000 and also my P60. This case fits the camera horizontally and is as confortable as having my cell phone on my waist. To the previous poster, I resolved the lack of a wrist strap by removing the strap provided with the CoolPix P6000 and replaced it with this one:[@]

Great leather case, fits camera perfectly but, it could use a wrist strap (as I had to buy another case because, in a hurry to take a picture; I stuffed it in a pocket and lost it). The other thing that would be useful would be a couple of little mesh pockets to hold an extra memory chip and battery.

I had purchased different cases, which I had been told would fit the Coolpix 6000, and none fitted the camera like this soft leather case from Nikon. I was looking for this in local shops at different country in Europe, without any luck. In the end I puchased the case from B&H [...]. The case was really nice and the camera fit perfect.
