The Lomography 38mm Super Wide Angle Lens is roughly equivalent to a 25mm lens on a 35mm format camera, and provides a 120° angle of view. This allows you to use your Diana+ as a tool to shoot wider vistas, inspiring landscapes, cityscapes and architecture. The dreamy look and feel of the classic Diana+ image is fully maintained, with signature darkening and a bit of blurriness at the corners.

This is a very funny, all-plastic little lens.
The aperture is fixed and the focus barrel gives approximate results all the time no matter what; and that's the beauty of it! The contrast is low and there is plenty of aberration with uncontrollable flares with even just a little in-camera light. Awesome!
Great to get the toy camera effect and some really romantic and vintage style shots. Can't complain much about the price either. I use it on a DSLR with great results, you will need an adapter sold separately though, and some tape as it wiggles and come off loose often(!). You have to be creative with the light when shooting and experiment in post to achieve the best results; don't expect to drop it in, shoot candid and get Lomography results because on a digital camera you won't.
Is easy and difficult to use at the same time. Just put your shooting mode to M and go for it, lots of fun!

Glossy semi-vintage look
I orignally expected more from this lens. Hooked it up to my Canon DSLR with the lens adapter and was underwhelmed with the results. I guess I just expected a more Diana look.

Simply put, if you want that Lomography look, get the Diana camera instead of this. But if you want a lens that gives you a dreamy shot with a warmer color hue than go with this.
Just don't get too excited about it.

Such a fun lens to put on my Canon 5D! I have yet to find a particular use for it but for the low cost it's much better to play with on my DSLR than exposing roll after roll of film in a real Diana/Holga/Whatever.

I use this product on my Canon EOS 7D with the adapter also sold by Lomographic. It works really well, perfectly achieving that lo-fi look - a soft, dream-like image that reminds one of film cameras from decades ago. Very fun to play around with.

Comments about Lomography 38mm Super Wide Angle Lens for Diana+ Camera:
Okay, so I gave 5 stars to a plastic optic. I can explain. When I am in a creative rut I bust out my Diana lenses and give myself a challenge. They hardly let in any light, vignette, blur and all that great stuff. No brainless shooting of the same things, in the same way as usual. You have to think with this stuff. There are barely any adjustments you can make to the lens - so you have to adjust yourself.
I have 3 Diana lenses so far. This one and my 110mm Soft focus are my favourites. The 55mm is okay....maybe better to use with the macro attachment - at least for me. For someone with a different style than me this may not be the case. (I do shoot with my digital full frame camera - not a Diana film camera - this would make a huge difference in the end result and change ones preferences considerably, I'm sure.)

My favorite lens for my Diana. I prefer it in '16 frame mode'. Very comfortable focal length. I dare say it's 'sharp' compared to the 75mm. Focuses closer too.I bought the adaptor for my digital also, but don't use it. I will keep the Lomo look for the Lomo camera. It's not the same on digital for some reason. Just get the Diana, it's too cheap not too.I give it 5 stars only because it's fun. Don't expect anything mind blowing out of this lens, probably won't change your life or anything. It's only [$]

I love the publicity that comes with this lens however mounting it on my canon dslr just doesnt seem to work. I might not have used it enough but if you decide to by this lens, you my as well buy the actual Diana Camera, hope it works.

Great for getting the Diana look with digital. Takes some time to get figured out, exposures are very touchy given you only have one large aperture, but its lots of fun once you get it down.

Fun low cost lens usable on Nikon and Canon slr's with applicable Lomo adapter. Sharper than the 75mm Diana+ lens without being too sharp. only one aperature of approximately F/9 on slr's.
