If I had the knowledge needed to understand what the author is writing I would not have need to buy a book on the subject. The illustrations you really need to see are so small and poor in contrast they often cannot be read with a magnifying glass. It is a slick book for the coffee table but that is the extent of its value to me. It would be overpriced at $10 and it cost [$]

I like Lightroom v2 but do not like web based or pdf help files. I needed a book to answer questions and give advice on using Lightroom v2. Happily the first one I tried seems perfect for me. This is published under the aegis of Adobe, and seems to have info and advice on everything, made clear by an abundance of excellent screen captures. It probably has negatives, but I haven't found them yet.
